Although she will be a loss to the senior leadership team at Santander UK, part of her new role at the Bank of England will be to help ensure that the Prudential Regulation Authority is successfully integrated into the Bank which is critical to the success of the new regulatory regime that the Government has put in place by splitting up the Financial Services Authority.”
