Kim Birnie

Kim is supporting the development of Per Ardua Associates’ Leadership Consultancy capability with a particular focus on coaching and advisory services to Chairs and NEDs. She is an experienced Executive & Leadership Team coach, who also advises organisations on talent strategy, executive development and organisational/culture change.
Kim began her career in consulting, moving on to Barclays, PepsiCo and Tesco, where she held Director and Executive level roles within HR/OD, before she established her own consulting practice. Her clients include many well-known global organisations, as well as Private Equity and start-up enterprises. In addition, she does pro bono work within the Education sector.
She combines strategic focus, commercial acumen and psychological expertise to facilitate transformation at individual, team and organisational levels, supported by evidence-based diagnostic tools (including 360 Feedback, Hogan and FIRO-B).
Kim holds an honours degree in Education & Psychology from Birmingham University, a Masters level qualification in Executive Coaching and Systemic Team Coaching (EMCC and ICF accredited), as well as being a certified Gestalt practitioner. She is also an accredited practitioner in Organisational Constellations, Appreciative Inquiry and Time to Think Coaching and facilitation, as well as being certified in many other well recognised psychometric instruments.
